Life in the Fast Lane
There is one lesson in life that is worth repeating no matter what age we are: “We are what we eat.” The human body is an amazing machine and it deserves the best fuel possible. Unfortunately, there are all kinds of excuses for not eating healthy: it costs too much, there is no time for cooking, whole food goes bad too quickly, my kids don’t like it, or I need something that’s easy to grab and go. The truth is that time has not changed much over the past few hundred years but people’s eating habits have. The fast pace of living, especially in the United States, creates an ever increasing need for the easiest way out of every situation, including meals.
